When I started the mirror work, I started seeing them more clearly. I started naming them. I started letting them go. And after I did that, I was able to write songs like this one. Songs that weren't about burying ghosts, but about learning to hold the parts that remained.

I wrote that line for Sarah. For the part of me that learned to disappear. For the little one inside who was told she cried too much, felt too much, was too much. The line is a reminder that she wasn't the problem. She was just a kid doing her best. And she deserved softness, not shame.
