INTERLVDE
Album arriving February 13
This album is the pause inside the ritual.
The exhale between movements.
The place where play returns.
INTERLVDE is an in-between album — songs for landing, grieving, laughing, dreaming, and trusting myself again.
It emerged in the middle of FVNERAL, a larger ritual album walked with tarot, where ghosts (false selves) are named and released.
(FVNERAL is still being written — 8 tracks are already streaming.)
INTERLVDE doesn’t interrupt that work.
It gives it room to breathe.
It arrives uninvited and perfectly timed.
It laughs.
It washes dishes.
It talks to birds.
It leaves pennies by the sink.
This album regulates.
It hosts.
It keeps the body from freezing mid-grief.
Things are rearranging themselves.
Thank you for joining the ritual.
A little crow’s on the wire, keeping watch over you. 🖤🪶
1. INTERLVDE - Lyrics
A pause inside the larger ritual.
INTERLVDE lives in the in-between — between grief and laughter, seriousness and play. It’s a place to breathe, reset the nervous system, and remember that lightness is allowed, even mid-process.
2. Mom Magick Ritual of Protection (MMRP) — Lyrics
A protective ritual written for everyday life.
This track is a grounding spell for boundaries, safety, and clarity. It’s about protecting energy gently — without fear, without force — and returning power back to the body.
3. What is the Cost of Loss? — Lyrics
A kitchen-sink grief song.
This song sits with the quiet math of loss — the way grief shows up in ordinary moments, routines, and pauses. It asks what loss costs when life keeps moving anyway.
4. Cardinal in Mourning — Lyrics
Learning how to stand inside grief.
This song came from watching grief slow down instead of crash. It’s about letting sorrow be as big as it needs to be, while finding one small place where the body can rest.
5. A Little Bird Told Me — Lyrics
This track listens for intuition — the quiet knowing that arrives sideways. It’s about paying attention to small signals, inner whispers, and the wisdom that moves gently instead of loudly.
This song is me trusting that everything really is okay.
6. Tree is in the Crow — Lyrics
A song about where support really lives.
This track explores an inversion: support doesn’t arrive first — commitment does. It’s about discovering that structure forms in response to presence, not the other way around.
7. Am I Awake or Asleep? — Lyrics
A threshold song.
This song lives at the edge between dreaming and waking. It asks what happens when awareness gets curious instead of rigid — and how perception itself shapes experience.
8. I’m Glass — Lyrics
A mirror song.
I’m Glass is about transparency, tenderness, and being seen — especially by myself. It explores fragility as sensitivity, not weakness, and reflection as a form of self care.
9. Alive is a Lie — Lyrics
A crooked smile at the middle.
This song plays with contrast — the human and the star, the mess and the meaning. It’s about learning to love emotional complexity and letting delight guide movement.
10. WILLING — Lyrics
WILLING is about consent with life — the quiet decision to stay open even when certainty hasn’t arrived yet. It marks the moment readiness replaces resistance.
“I am willing to trust myself today.”
11. Deja Vu — Lyrics
This track explores the feeling of arriving exactly when something is ready for you. Deja Vu is about timing, familiarity, and trusting the strange comfort of “I’ve been here before.”
12. Jolly Fool Folly — Lyrics
Fool medicine.
This song restores lightness. It celebrates movement without perfection, laughter without apology, and the wisdom of stepping forward without armor.
13. Crow is Always Watching You — Lyrics
A closing blessing.
This final track holds the whole album with care. It’s a reminder that nothing here is lost, that awareness remains, and that the watcher is kind.
About the Album
This album arrived in the middle of a bigger one I'm writing. I wrote 12 songs in 12 days.
Many of these songs came through quickly, often in my kitchen journal, as a way to breathe between heavier work. The album holds grief, humor, mirrors, dreams, and moments of play. It’s guided by Crow voice and simple rituals that help me feel safe, present, and connected.
INTERLVDE isn’t about fixing anything — it’s about staying, listening, and moving gently (and playfully) through being alive.
