Set of 5 Pin Buttons | Gorgeous Album | Loui Crow Lyrics | 2.25"
$20.00
A Note on These Pins
I released the album GORGEOUS a year ago. It was my scream. The album I needed to write before I could say anything kind to myself in the mirror.
The songs came from a place I know well — years of being told I was too much, not enough, too sensitive, too quiet, too loud. Years of learning to say yes when I meant no. Years of freezing, fawning, and disappearing to keep the peace. GORGEOUS was the first time I let myself be angry about it.
I didn't sing the songs myself — I seed my voice into Suno, and the music comes to life that way. But the lyrics are mine. Every story came from my body, my history, my healing. The album has a trigger warning for a reason — it walks through assault, coercion, survival, and the slow, messy work of reclaiming myself. It also holds lines that feel empowering to me. Lines I wrote to remind myself that I've come a long way. That I wasn't kneeling — I was waiting to rise.
"Still gorgeous, even after all of it." (Gorgeous)
"Crow remembers." (From my "Crow" song)
"Hands where I can see them." (Enough)
"They just liked me better quiet." (On My Knees)
And one with just my name — Loui Crow.
Each of these lines means something to me. They're reminders of where I've been and who I'm becoming.
I don't know if you'll find them, or if they'll land the way they land for me. But I put them out there anyway. Just in case.
Thank you for looking.
