A Note on This Clock
I wrote the song "Mirror, Mirror Off The Wall" because I needed the mirror to speak for me on the days I didn't have words. The line "I love you anyway" became a quiet anchor.
A reminder that I don't have to be fixed to be loved. I don't have to be polished to be held.
Louise Hay taught me that we've been bullying ourselves for years, and that maybe — just maybe — we could try being kind instead. But I couldn't get there right away. I had to feel the anger first. I had to look without flinching before I could speak.
The clock, to me, isn't about time. It's about the moment you decide to stop fighting yourself. It's a reminder that you're allowed to be a mess. You're allowed to be soft. You're allowed to look in the mirror and say "I love you anyway" — even if you don't fully believe it yet.
I don't own this clock myself, (yet). But I love the idea of it being a quiet reminder on the wall, just keeping watch.
