I used to hate myself. I used to believe I was too much, stupid, ugly, gross, not enough, a burden. I spent years tearing myself apart with my own hands and my own thoughts. I didn't want to live for a long time.

I'm still learning. I'm still in the middle of it. But I can honestly say I love me more than ever now. That's years of showing up to the mirror, even when I couldn't stand what I saw. That's learning to say "I love you anyway" until I start to mean it.
