I have been in a quiet season. Still. Spacious. Full of listening. I keep coming back to a song I wrote a while back: Cardinal in Mourning.

Fear is the branch.
Anger is the bird.
That song gave me a map for my feelings. It let me sit with them without rushing.
But the quiet also showed me something else. It showed me that even after all the burying ghosts and naming and climbing, my inner child still needs more reassurance. She still gets in her head. She still wonders if she is seen. She still needs to hear that she is loved, no matter what.
So I wrote this new song. I Love You More. It is the song I need to hear right now.

This song is deeply inspired by Louise Hay's work on the mind body connection.
She taught that pain is a message, and the location and type of pain is a map to the emotional belief beneath it.
