00. ASH — The Reckless Seeker
Imaginary Friends Deck Launch Begins
Hey crowhearts, Loui here.
We’re starting something big. Something sacred. Something feral.
This is the Imaginary Friends Deck—a mirror deck, a shadow deck, a molting deck. A slow unraveling of the selves you had to split off to survive. Each card is a part of your inner world that once got labeled “too much,” “too weird,” or “not real.”
But now? We’re calling them back.
Each Imaginary Friend is double-sided—masculine and feminine, not as gender but as energetic current. Yin and yang. Fire and water. Doing and being. Every card shows you both sides of the mirror, because healing doesn’t come in straight lines—and who you are doesn’t fit in a single box.
This deck was made for bodies that flinch when they sit still.
For stomachs that twist when someone says “relax.”
For people who say “I’m fine” but feel like a soda can about to explode.
We call it Featherlock.
When the body locks down like a wing caught in wire. The mind forgets, but the muscle remembers. Happens when too many “I’m fine”s stack up in the chest.
It’s what happens when your body becomes a storage unit for all the feelings you weren’t allowed to have.
Pain with no clear cause? Fatigue that makes no sense? Numbness in weird places?
This deck doesn’t require you to be healed.
It meets you in the mess.
It speaks the language of your clenched jaw, your forgotten memory, your gut instinct that says “something’s off” even when the doctor says you’re fine.
We’re not diagnosing.
We’re decoding.
Each card comes with:
🃏 A symbolic personality profile
🧍 A sacred pose or grounding gesture
🌱 Food and sensory spells
🗣️ Masculine and feminine affirmation lines
🔥 A ritual prompt to help shift the pattern
This is remembering who you were before you had to disappear.
🌬️ 00. ASH — The Reckless Seeker
Archetype: The Fool
Dual Energetics: Masculine / Feminine
Core Wound: Escapism disguised as freedom - memory loss, disassociation.
Ritual Pose: Mountain (Tadasana)
Hey... Ever Tried to Outrun a Ghost?
You can’t.
But Ash? Oh, Ash will try anyway.
Ash is the part of me that moves before thinking. The one who drives with no map, just music. The one who thinks “sitting still” is a kind of death.
Ash is wild, beautiful, and slightly dangerous.
And maybe... Ash is me. Maybe Ash is you, too.
🕯️ Who Is Ash?
Ash is The Fool—but not naïve.
Ash is what happens when movement becomes medicine.
Not because it’s joyful.
But because sitting still hurts too much.
Ash is the part of the self that learned to keep moving so the past wouldn’t catch up.
A soul who’s been burned too many times to rest.
So instead?
They run.
They leap.
They forget.
But not because they’re flaky.
Because forgetting was safer than remembering.
Ash’s brain installed a safety switch:
Memory loss.
Disassociation.
Blanks in the timeline.
It’s not laziness.
It’s not carelessness.
It’s Featherlock—when your mind slips into fog because the truth is too sharp to touch directly.
It’s the brain saying:
“This feeling? This memory? Too much. Let’s black out for a bit.”
The nervous system becomes a vault.
The muscles carry what the heart can’t.
The moments vanish—not by accident, but by instinct.
Ash doesn't mean to forget.
But when the feelings start flooding in, something inside says: "Nope. Not safe. Shut it down."
And that works—for a while.
Until one day you wake up and realize:
You don’t know what you did last weekend.
You keep spacing out in conversations.
You look in the mirror and don’t recognize who’s looking back.
That’s the cost of running too long.
You don’t just outrun the pain.
You start outrunning yourself.
Ash thinks they’re free.
But what they really are... is untethered.
They think they’re fearless.
But what they really are... is numb.
They don’t want to be reckless.
They just never learned how to be still and safe at the same time.
And so, the leap becomes the pattern.
The spiral becomes the story.
And memory becomes a blur that protects and imprisons.
Ash in a Nutshell (Or in a feather):
Balanced Ash:
✔️ Curious explorer
✔️ Bold adventurer
✔️ Adaptable shapeshifter
✔️ Resilient survivor
Imbalanced Ash:
⚠️ Self-destructive
⚠️ Emotionally checked out
⚠️ Memory Loss
⚠️ Afraid of stillness
Ash’s Medicine: Stillness You Don’t Have to Fear
Ash doesn’t need a cage.
Ash needs an anchor.
That’s why Ash’s grounding pose is Tadasana (Mountain Pose). Still. Rooted. Tall.
A place to pause without collapsing.
Ash isn’t trying to escape the world.
Ash is trying to escape their own past.
Stillness doesn’t mean defeat.
Stillness means you’re safe enough to stop running.
Dual Currents: Masculine & Feminine Energy Breakdown
A masculine and feminine current, dancing in every card.
Not man and woman.
This is energy. Polarity.
The sun and the moon. The sword and the cup. The inhale and the exhale.
🌬️ When the masculine is out of balance? We overact. We rush. We dominate. We try to fix what needs to be felt.
🌊 When the feminine is out of balance? We spiral. We stall. We wait for permission that’s already ours.
Healing is rebalancing the circuit.
Each card in Imaginary Friends holds both poles.
Because the part of you that leaps also needs a place to land.
Affirmations:
Masculine Ash:
💬 “A deep breath is the medicine I’m needing.”
Feminine Ash:
💬 “I surrender to stillness without fear.”
This isn’t about picking one. It’s about being whole.
Let your healing speak both languages.
Food + Breath = Spell
Ash needs:
🫐 Blueberries for clarity
🌿 Peppermint oil to wake the breath
🪞 A mirror to say:
“I see me. Even if I don’t remember everything... I’m still here.”
When to Invoke Ash:
When life feels like a blur
When silence feels like a threat
When the chase is wearing you down but stopping feels worse
When you forget what day it is, what your name means, or what rest feels like
Loui’s Final Blessing (Crow-Eye Truth):
Ash isn’t broken.
Ash is molting.
This isn’t failure. This is the in-between.
The space between running and remembering.
Ash is the first card because every quest starts with forgetting who you are.
And every comeback starts with a breath.
So take one now.
Not for calm—but for clarity.
This isn’t just a deck.
This is a slow leak of liberation.
A scavenger hunt through the attic of your own subconscious—
Where every card is a mirror, a memory, and a medicine.
🧠 TL;DR — Ash Summary Cheat Sheet

If one of these imaginary friends already lives inside you?
Don’t worry.
They never left.
They’ve just been waiting to be named.
