I write the lyrics. I use Suno for the vocals. I’m not a singer. I never had the confidence or the vocal training to sing my own words. I wrote lyrics in high school. Then a hard drive crashed. I lost everything. I went into the military. Trauma took over my life. I never wrote another song.

I’m transparent about this. I don’t hide it. If someone else has words stuck in them — if they’ve always wanted to write music but never had the voice, the confidence, the resources — this is another way. You don’t have to wait for permission. You don't have to be a trained musician. You can just write.

I make this music for myself. I write to survive my own insides. I share it in case someone else is surviving theirs too.

I still dream of getting a vocal coach someday. I still dream of singing these songs live. But for now — this is how the music gets out. And I’m grateful. My inner child is grateful.

If you have words stuck in you, you don’t have to sing them. You can write. You can seed your voice. You can let the song find its own shape. Suno is one door. A journal is another.

I know AI upsets some people. I'm not trying to upset anyone. I'm just being transparent — this is the tool I have right now. It's at my fingertips. I can sing a little clip into it, and it takes my voice seed and helps me build a song. It's not the only way, but it's my way, today.

If my music isn't for you, that's okay. I'm not here to convince anyone.

I do think there are other people like me — people who have had a lot to say and never got the words out. People who are just now picking up the pen, who don't have five years and a budget to find collaborators.

I leave breadcrumbs in case anyone is walking in the same forest.
