đ MMRP: The Mom Magick Ritual of Protection
(formerly known as my Circle & Cross ritual)
This is for home, chaos, and the five minutes before the toddler wakes up.
For the moment you remember: I have a field worth protecting.
đȘ¶ What It Is
The MMRP is my rewrite of the old Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. (LBRP)
No robes. No Latin. No gatekeepers.
Just a mom doing chaos magick in Crocs.
Chaos Magick runs on one rule: if it works, itâs true.
So we use what worksâbreath, body, focus, humor.
Itâs self-care that actually seals your aura instead of just lighting a candle and hoping.
This is magick for people who spill coffee, lose patience, and still want to live on purpose.
⥠Crow Warning: Donât Just Light UpâLock Down
Turning your energy âonâ without shielding it
is like turning on the porch light while holding a pizza in bear country.
You might attract angels. You might attract Chad from accounting.
Either way, shield first. Then shine.
âš Why It Matters
Clears static (yours + the worldâs).
Pulls your soul back into your body.
Anchors you between stars and laundry.
Makes you less snackable to psychic mosquitoes.
Builds willpower that survives the school run.
â± When to Use It
Morning: start clean.
Night: end clean.
After hard conversations, big cries, ecstatic dances, weird dreams, Target runs.
Whenever you feel like a sponge full of swamp water.
đ If You Forget
Catch it when you remember.
Say the Cross. Seal the light. Breathe like it workedâbecause it did.
Your magick doesnât need perfection. It needs participation.
𧏠Energy Detox Is Weird (But Real)
After a good MMRP you might:
cry for no reason
want to deep clean
get sudden clarity
feel like a battery charging in reverse
set clearer boundaries with relationships
Thatâs your aura taking out the trash.
Drink water. Nap. Stretch. Donât overthink.
Healing feels like chaos right before it feels like calm.
đź How To Do It
Step 1 â The Cross of Being
Face East. Feet grounded. Spine long. Shoulders soft.
Make a wand with your fingers (pointer + middle)
âor use whateverâs sacred and handy: pen, spoon, sippy cup, feather.
Take one deep breath and begin:
Forehead â touch gently, say âCrown of Stars.â
(Light above.)Chest â touch, say âRoot of Earth.â
(Anchor below.)Right shoulder â say âHand of Creation.â
(Your power to build.)Left shoulder â say âHeart of Receiving.â
(Your power to allow.)Hands to heart â say âI am the bridge between Heaven and Earth.â*
Pause. You are lit from center. You are the cross.
Optional flex: spread your arms like wings and say,
âI call the light to me, and I stand in its truth.â
Step 2 â Cast the Circle
Face East. Point your wand-hand from your heart.
Turn clockwise slowly, drawing an invisible circle around yourself.
Say:
âThis is my circle. Sacred. Sealed. Strong.â
When you face East again, youâre inside your own little force field.
Step 3 â Draw the Four Crosses
For each direction, draw a cross in the air (top to bottom, left to right).
Touch the center and speak:
East (Air): âI call the breath of beginnings. Protect this space.â
South (Fire): âI call the flame of courage. Protect this space.â
West (Water): âI call the tides of truth. Protect this space.â
North (Earth): âI call the bones of becoming. Protect this space.â
Face East again and repeat the Cross of Being to seal the field.
Step 4 â Close and Seal
Right foot forward. Left hand behind back.
Touch your lips with your right index finger. Breathe.
Youâre sealed. Protected. Glowingâbut guarded.
Crow says: âWhen the bones remember and the light agreesâyouâre ready.â
đ€ Afterthought
The MMRP is parenting energy turned sacred geometry.
Itâs proof you can do chaos and still call it holy.
No incense requiredâjust intention, breath, and maybe a decent playlist.
May your field stay sealed.
May your light stay loud.
May your Crocs squeak proudly across the astral plane. đȘ¶
âš A Note on Lineage
The MMRP (Mom Magick Ritual of Protection) grew out of my love for the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagramâthe original LBRP from the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
I still perform the traditional version often. Itâs powerful, timeless, and beautifully built.
This adaptation simply grew from my need to feel it more clearly in my own language and rhythm.
Hebrew is sacred, but when I spoke the words, I sometimes got lost in the sound instead of the sensation.
So I built this English, body-based shorthandâa way to experience the same architecture through breath, movement, and daily embodiment.
Itâs not a replacement; itâs a bridge.
The bones are ancient. The voice is mine.
I honor the original by keeping it alive in a form I can live inside.
If you want the full breakdownâwith Hebrew pronunciations, angelic attributions, and energetic anatomyâyou can still read my detailed LBRP guide here â (link).
Crow would say: âThe spell doesnât lose power when translated; it finds a new frequency in the mouth that means it.â
