The Commander is the ghost of overorder—the one who mistook control for care. It’s the sound of overfunctioning cracking open. A prayer for rest disguised as a confession. Strength without rest becomes a cage; this is the moment it rusts open. Fourth gate of FVNERAL—where duty turns to dust and the body finally drops the map. Control dissolves, presence remains. The world still spins.

She fed until she disappeared. This song digs into the ghost that calls care survival and love a form of control. It’s from FVNERAL, my ritual album about burying the false selves built to stay alive. A confession for anyone who gave until they broke—who mistook devotion for proof. It’s what happens when nurture turns to need, when the meal becomes a prayer, and the giver finally eats first.

This is the ghost that prays for signs, then ignores them. She’s the ghost that guards the veil and forgets to lift it. The Escapist hides behind holy silence, clutching secrets like pearls. The second ghost still smiles while burning. They polish panic into charm, call control a kind of love. Every syllable’s armor, every silence a stage. But words can catch fire, and this is where they do. The Magician finally exhales, watching illusion melt from the mirror. Power softens. Breath returns. The FVNERAL keeps unfolding—ghost by ghost
